What does R.A. Quarshie and Associates do?
We are a professional and technical services firm incorporated in Maryland. We specialize in auditing and accounting, financial analysis, and management and information technology consulting, through three practices: accounting and assurance, audits and related services, and business advisory.
Who are your clients?
We serve federal and state governments, private companies, and nonprofit and non-governmental agencies.
Where is your office?
Our office is at 10411 Motor City Dr., Suite 750, Bethesda, MD 20817. We are open Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Which professional standards do you follow?
Our audit practice adheres to GAAP and GAAS. We take extra steps to meet and exceed the standards set by Government Auditing Standards and the AICPA, and we follow the criteria established by the GAO and the AICPA.
Do you work with federal agencies?
Yes. Our staff have extensive experience with federal management consulting, accounting, financial reporting and audit services under OMB Circular A-123, OMB Circular A-136, OMB Bulletin 07-04, the GAO Financial Audit Manual and the FFMIA, including Chief Financial Officers' Act audits.
Can you team with us as a prime contractor or subcontractor?
Yes. We partner with experienced, qualified large and small businesses, either as the prime contractor or as a subcontractor.
What NAICS codes do you work under?
We work under 28 NAICS codes, including 541211 (Offices of Certified Public Accountants), 541213 (Tax Preparation Services), 541219 (Other Accounting Services), 541611 (Administrative Management and General Management Consulting Services) and 541618 (Other Management Consulting Services). Do you provide SOC 1, SOC 2 and SOC 3 reports?
Yes. SOC 1 (formerly SSAE 16), SOC 2 and SOC 3 engagements are part of our accounting and assurance practice.
Which industries do you work in?
We work with organizations across 20 industries, including government and the public sector, not-for-profit and education, healthcare, affordable housing, financial services, private equity, real estate, construction, manufacturing, technology and renewable energy.
